Welcome to Rivalry Week in Tennessee High School Football. With the new season, we’re bringing you a new take on the high school football action from in and around Hamilton County.
Here’s how Rivalry Week is going to work. From week to week, the host Greg Larnerd of The Word With G will travel with his crew to two schools meeting up the coming Friday with a little something extra between them… You’ll learn a little bit about what programs, hear from the coach, a couple of players, and most important what THIS rivalry means to them and their school.
To kick things off this season we’re starting with the Bradley Central Bears taking on the Cleveland Blue Raiders.
In this first video, you’ll be hearing from the Bradley Central side of things as head coach Damon Floyd, quarterback Aiden McClary, running back Jackson Wilson, and FS/WR Marcus Goree.
Next, here’s the Cleveland side of things featuring head coach Marty Wheeler, inside linebacker Leo Palelei, and TE/DE Tate O’Bryan.
Who’ll win this in-town rivalry? Only one way to find out and that’s Friday night, 7 p.m. at Blue Raider Stadium on the campus of Cleveland High School.
