Tom Brady officially hung it up on Tuesday after premature reports leaked over the weekend that he was indeed going to retire. After a couple of days of speaking on the matter and being very noncommital, Brady took to Instagram to finally make the announcement…
That statement prompted another one, this time from long-time rival and friend, the former Tennessee Volunteer great, Peyton Manning via his production company, Omaha Productions…
Kind words from Manning who faced off against Brady 17 times where Tom outdueled Peyton 11-6 in their head-to-head match-ups.
However, Manning is always one to take a jab at his buddy much as he did during his Hall of Fame acceptance speech…

Whether it’s taking jabs during Hall of Fame acceptance speeches, which I’m sure Tom will have one for Peyton in a few years, shots on SNL, or exchanging blows on the golf course these two always seem to enjoy each others company.
Congrats Tom, you were an incredible competitor and football player but I’m glad to see you go, enjoy retirement!
