- Georgia has won eight of the last 10 in the series, including the last two
- The Bulldogs are looking to win three-straight against Auburn for the first time since a four-game run from 2006-09
- Auburn is 5-1 in games played while ranked in the AP Poll over the last two seasons, with the only loss coming last season at LSU
- Auburn has the third-weakest remaining schedule among SEC teams and is favored by FPI (Football Power Index) in two of its three remaining games (Nov.26 at Alabama is the exception)
- With the loss by Texas A&M last week, the Tigers now control their own destiny in the SEC West
