A couple of weeks ago, the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga announced the school will add a women’s beach volleyball team starting in 2020. Travis Filar serves as head coach of the UTC indoor volleyball team and joined Press Row on Wednesday, August 7 to talk about the university’s newest varsity sport. Darin Van Horn, who has served as an assistant coach for the indoor program since 2015, will serve as the head coach of the beach program.
