University of Georgia offensive linemen Andrew Thomas and Isaiah Wilson announced Tuesday that they will both forego their senior season and turn their focus to the NFL Draft

Thomas is projected to hear his name called early in April’s draft. ESPN’s Todd McShay has Thomas slotted to go No. 7 overall to the New York Jets. The junior from Lithonia, Georgia started all 13 games at left tackle this season, and won the SEC’s Jacobs Blocking Trophy. Thomas also received first-team All-SEC honors this season. He announced his decision via Twitter on Tuesday night.

Isaiah Wilson started 24 games at tackle over the past two years at Georgia. The Brooklyn, New York native is slotted as a late first round pick at the best, but could have to wait until day two of the NFL Draft to hear his name called. In 2019, Isaiah Wilson was named an All-SEC second-team selection by the Associated Press, and was named to the Outland Trophy watchlist. The Outland Trophy is awarded to college football’s best interior lineman. Wilson also announced his decision via Twitter a little over an hour after Thomas made his decision public.

Both Thomas and Wilson announced that they will not be playing in the Sugar Bowl. The Dawgs will be without both of its offensive tackles when they take on Baylor in the Allstate Sugar Bowl on January 1 at 8:45 p.m. ET.
