Heritage High School had only two Division I football players in the school’s twelve year history. That change Wednesday afternoon as General defensive back Sam Randolph (Georgia Southern) and offensive lineman Kobe McAllister (Cincinnati) signed their letters of intent to play football at the FBS level.
Sam Randolph, a 6-foot-2, 195-pound safety, committed to Georgia Southern after his official visit last weekend. The All-State safety accounted for 59 tackles, two of which were for loss. Randolph added 33 catches for 471 yards and 6 touchdowns at the receiver position. Sam is rated as a two-star prospect by 247 Sports and Rivals.com.

Kobe McAllister, rated a three-star prospect by 247 Sports, stuck to his commitment to Cincinnati and signed with the Bearcats on Wednesday. He verbally committed to Luke Fickell’s program in April, and was one of four offensive line signees Cincinnati received during the early signing period. The 6-foot-6 275-pound McAllister anchored the Generals’ offensive line, and helped the Generals run game tally 1388 rushing yards this season.

Sam Randolph and Kobe McAllister make Heritage the only Chattanooga area school to send multiple student-athletes to FBS programs during this early signing period. With the signings of Randolph and McAllister, Heritage now has four Division I signees.
