Not long after his de-commitment from Oklahoma, class of 2021 quarterback Brock Vandagriff gave his verbal commitment to the in-state Georgia Bulldogs.

The highly touted quarterback is ranked as the No. 24 overall player and the No. 2 quarterback in ESPN’s Jr. 300 rankings. 247Sports has Vandagriff as the No. 8 overall player and the top quarterback, while Rivals.com slots him at No. 4 overall and the top quarterback. Vandagriff joins a Georgia recruiting class that already boasts four-star athlete David Daniel and four-star offensive lineman Jared Wilson.
Vandagriff attends Prince Avenue Christian School, which is less than 15 miles from the University of Georgia. Vandagriff had a stellar junior season at Prince Avenue, tossing for 2,471 yards, 31 touchdowns, and 3 interceptions. He also ran for 262 yards and 6 touchdowns. As a two-year starter under center for the Wolverines, the 6-foot-3, 205 pound quarterback has thrown for a total of 3,661 yards, 59 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions.
If Brock Vandagriff honors his verbal commitment to the Dawgs, he will be Kirby Smart’s second five-star signee at the quarterback position, joining current Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields, who signed with the Dawgs in the 2018 recruiting cycle.
