The once highest-paid running back in the NFL before the 2018 season, Gurley will return to the Peach State after playing his college ball at the University of Georgia from 2012-2014.
Since his entrance into the league in 2015, Gurley has earned Pro Bowl honors three times and is a two-time All-Pro. The former Georgia Bulldog also earned AP Offensive Rookie of the Year in 2015 and AP Offensive Player of the Year in 2017.
He signs with the Falcons less than 24 hours after being released by Los Angeles. Gurley took to Twitter to express his feelings about the release.

Gurley’s deal with the Falcons is set for one year. The deal will not be finalized until he passes his physical.
